Hey folks! It's time for another project reveal for an entertainment room we recently decorated and completed.
These lovely clients purchased and moved into their beautiful forever home over last summer. They wanted their entertainment room to be used for relaxing with each other, playing games and generally having fun with family and friends.

THE WISHLIST
- Maximize seating space without overcrowding
- Incorporate as much storage possible
- Comfortable couches for movie nights and family time
- Completely furnish the space
- Make it feel welcoming
Before we got our hands on this project, our clients had already done a few renovations to the space. They installed beautiful flooring, custom built-in cabinetry, a new fireplace, a fresh coat of paint and a new chandelier. While they loved their new entertainment space, they felt their furniture wasn’t quite right for it and they wanted everything to be cohesive and functional while feeling warm and welcoming.
Our first objective was to source two super comfy sofas. These clients love watching movies together as a family so loungey, comfortable furniture was an absolute must.
Before the pandemic, our clients would often host gatherings in their home. Hopeful that those days would soon return, they wanted plenty of seating and storage so their entertainment room would be comfortable for all and as clutter-free as possible.
We chose to add an upholstered storage bench perfect for storing away toys, two upholstered storage ottomans for loose items and two storage baskets for their blankets and throw pillows. We also added bar stools for additional seating while playing pool or darts.
To keep the entertainment room feeling relaxed, we opted to take a minimalist approach with decorating. We focused on using plants, personal photos and books, as well as some functional décor to add personality and character to the space.
To further enhance the casual vibe in the entertainment room, we chose a neutral colour palette infused with earthy blues, greens as well as nature-inspired art. Then we added cozy textures and natural materials where possible to ensure the space felt approachable and welcoming.
We love how this entertainment space came to life. Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, we created a cozy and welcoming space for family & friends to enjoy.
