2 minute read…
Have you ever looked around your home and thought…..
I like it… but it could be better. Something isn’t right.
You did your research, you saved tons of inspo photos, you bought all
the pieces you carefully considered to ensure the perfect execution,
but something still feels off.
Most busy professionals I work with are decisive, capable and
thoughtful in practically every area of their lives, but when it comes
to their home, they feel stuck.
Not because they lack taste or they’re bad at design, but because…..
Furniture is an investment
Returns are time-consuming
And laboring over the right paint color is exhausting
If you’re like any of them, instead of moving forward, you wait.
You do more research.
You second-guess.
You wonder if you’re missing something obvious.
You hesitate.
I get it. A well-designed room is like putting all the pieces of an
intricate puzzle together. Until all the pieces are all in place, the room
feels incomplete.
When I look at a space, I’m thinking about……
Layout
Scale
Lighting
Flow
Function
What deserves investment
What can wait
Where can we make an impact
What’s working and what’s not
What’s anchoring everything together, etc.
If you’ve followed me for a while, then you know that I’m on a
mission to help as many people as possible love their home.
Because of this, I’ve decided to try something new.
Every two weeks, I’m choosing one decorating dilemma and walking
through how I would approach it and then sharing it with those in
my community.
Not a quick answer.
Not a “buy this link.”
But my actual thought process.
Because once you understand how to think about your space,
everything changes.
You stop guessing.
You make fewer decisions.
You feel more confident before investing.
If you have a room that feels stuck, I’d love to hear about it.
You can submit your decorating dilemma here:
I personally review every submission. If your question is selected, I’ll walk through how I would approach it step-by-step so you can gain valuable insights about design and how to make your space work for your tastes and your lifestyle.
And if you’re reading this and thinking, “I don’t just want one answer. I want to understand the whole system.” You have two paths……
OPTION 1
If you want to learn how to design confidently on your own timeline, my DIY Interior Design Course walks you through the exact framework I use with my design clients.
OPTION 2
If you’d rather skip the trial and error and have a complete plan created for you, my virtual Design & Decorate service might be the better fit.
Either way, you don’t have to keep spinning ideas in your head.
Sometimes clarity is just one thoughtful perspective away.

Let's talk about your project. No pressure, no obligation, just a friendly conversation about your vision and how we can help bring it to life.
